That is why every academic year begins with Barnyard Explore – a special welcome experience designed for children and parents to step into the Little Red Hen world together, explore our learning spaces, and discover the many ways children learn, grow, and express themselves during their early years.

What is Barnyard Explore?

Barnyard Explore is more than just an orientation event. It is an opportunity for families to experience the heart of Little Red Hen through an engaging journey across thoughtfully designed learning stations within the campus.

Through this interactive trail, children and parents explore different aspects of preschool learning — seeing firsthand how curiosity, creativity, movement, imagination, and play come together in a child’s everyday learning experience.

From stories and exploration to creativity and discovery, each station reflects the different ways children naturally learn.
