This year, our children get to celebrate stories, imagination and the joy of reading, specially with the Pebbles & Pages Book Fair, with the active collaboration of Bond Over Bindings.
This year’s Literature Week Celebration is literally bigger and louder, with the presence of Ashok Rajagopalan, the popular author of the beloved Gajapati Kulapati series at the Kothanur campus. We can’t be more excited.

A certified Kathalaya storyteller at heart and book curator by choice. At BOB, Neha believes every book is a voice waiting to be heard, and every reader is searching for a story meant just for them.

Chandra brings Silli Billies, a specialized physical theatre initiative featuring interactive mime workshops designed for children.

Little Red Hen brings back the vibrant Book Fair in collaboration with Bond Over Bindings. Families and children can explore a wide collection of storybooks, picture books, and engaging reads carefully curated to spark imagination and nurture a love for reading. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to choose their own books, discover new authors, and carry the joy of stories home.

Natasha & Sharen from Tāla Education brings Giraffes Can’t Dance to life through music and movement, inviting children to discover different musical styles, explore animal-inspired rhythms, move like the characters, and create their own rhythms and musical patterns.

A professional storyteller, improv practitioner, theatre facilitator, Carnatic vocalist, author, voice artist, and educator. She founded KATHA GALATTA, using storytelling as a powerful tool for learning, connection, and joy. A member of leading storytelling networks, she has performed at national and international festivals and facilitated storytelling and theatre workshops for children, families, educators, corporates, and communities. She has also taught storytelling at government colleges and universities and presented her work at cultural conferences.

TA-DA! OH-NO! – The high-energy, chaotic world of clown theatre, where they masterfully pivot between triumphant presentation (“Ta-da!”) and sudden, hilarious failure (“Oh-no!”)

Sriharsha Grama is a Bangalore-based theatre artist with 20+ years of experience and a trained healthcare clown. He founded Doctor Parrots, a volunteer-led healthcare clowning organisation, and performs clown plays for children and adults.
Nuhar Bansal is a Bangalore-based actor and theatre maker with 8+ years of experience. She is passionate about clowning, community connection, and wellness.

Children step into the magical world of stories by dressing up as their favourite book characters. From fairytale heroes to curious animals, little detectives to magical beings – the classrooms come alive with imagination and colour. This joyful day encourages children to celebrate the books they love, express their creativity, and bring stories off the pages into real life.

Ashok Rajagopalan
We’re delighted to bring the much-loved children’s author Ashok Rajagopalan into the spotlight and at the Kothanur Campus. His widely acclaimed Gajapati Kulapati is a popular children’s picture book series about a big, gentle elephant and shares funny adventures with his friends.

An illustrator since 1989 and author since 2006, Ashok Rajagopalan loves to tell stories and draw pictures that make people, especially little people, laugh. He loves reading, talking, laughing, and walking in the rain. He lives in a green, quiet part of Chennai with his noisy family.
