Our Curriculum at Thanisandra
At our Thanisandra preschool, children learn through the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum- an internationally recognised framework covering six areas of development: Communication, Language and Literacy; Mathematics; Physical Development; Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Understanding the World; and Creative Expression. We deliver it through Play Way’s hands-on, experiential learning; Montessori materials for mathematical concepts; and the Jolly Phonics program for reading and writing readiness.
In a typical week, that means Brain Gym and yoga for physical development, Six Bricks and Montessori number work for early mathematics, phonics-based story circles for language, and our Tālā Academy music partnership alongside outdoor loose parts play for creative and physical exploration. Ours is an unhurried, observation-led approach where teachers watch and adjust to each child’s pace.

Daycare at our Thanisandra Preschool
Daycare at our Thanisandra preschool runs 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, for children 2 to 10 years – timed specifically so a parent finishing a normal day inside Manyata Tech Park isn’t racing an early deadline. Lunch at 1:00 pm, quiet rest time for younger children, then supervised play and activities through the afternoon, with a second snack around 5:00 pm ahead of pickup.
Children aged 6–10 already at primary school elsewhere get structured homework time alongside play. It’s a continuation of the same calm, unhurried day, with the same teachers your child already knows.

What Parents are saying💖
Dr Shritama DasLittle Red Hen Preschool is truly the best preschool I have come across. The stories, everyday activities, and learning experiences that happen here are so thoughtful and innovative that whenever I share them with my friends, they are left in awe-“How educational, creative, and cool can a school be?”

FAQs
Our Thanisandra preschool welcomes children from 1 year 8 months, through five age-based groups: Pre-Toddler Group, Playgroup, Early Years 1, Early Years 2, and Early Years 3. Each group follows the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum at a pace suited to that stage of development, so a child moving from Pre-Toddler through to EY3 experiences a continuous, unhurried progression rather than an abrupt jump between levels.
Our preschool hours run 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday. For families who need coverage beyond the school day, daycare continues seamlessly from 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the same campus, with the same teachers . There are no separate pickup, drop-off, or handoff to a different caregiver mid-afternoon.
Little Red Hen’s Thanisandra preschool is at 37, Bhagyashree Royale Layout, Rachenahalli Main Road, near Manyata Tech Park’s Back Gate 5. The campus sits within easy reach of the wider Thanisandra, Hebbal, Nagawara, and HBR Layout catchment, and close enough to Manyata Tech Park to make it a practical daily option for parents working inside the park.
The 6:30 pm daycare close was chosen deliberately to match a typical workday for parents commuting into Manyata Tech Park, so a parent isn’t forced to leave work early or arrange a rushed handover just to make pickup on time. It’s built around the realities of a tech-corridor commute, not a generic daycare closing time.
Children at Thanisandra learn through the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum, an internationally recognised early years framework, delivered through Play Way’s hands-on learning approach, Montessori materials for mathematical concepts, and the Jolly Phonics program for reading and writing readiness. In practice, this shows up as Brain Gym and yoga sessions, Six Bricks number work, phonics-based story circles, and music through our Tālā Academy partnership, woven through the regular week.
Not in the traditional AMI or AMS sense. The Thanisandra campus follows the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum as its primary framework, with Montessori materials used specifically to teach mathematical concepts like number sense and measurement — one part of a broader curriculum rather than a standalone Montessori program.
