Pebbles & Pages Preschool Annual Literature Week 2025

Bond over Bindings North BangaloreThis year’s Annual Literature Week is in collaboration with Bond Over Bindings, an Exclusive Children’s Bookstore and Learning Studio with a Reading Lounge, in North Bengaluru.

When: 15-19 September 2025
Where: Our Kothanur & Thanisandra Campuses

This year, our children get to celebrate stories, imagination and the joy of reading, specially with the Pebbles & Pages Book Fair, with the active collaboration of Bond Over Bindings.

From grandparents sharing timeless folktales to teachers weaving magic through puppetry, from lively author sessions to the much-awaited Book Fair, every day is a new adventure into the world of stories. Children will not only listen but also dress up, act, sing, and create – discovering the magic of reading in many delightful forms.

  • Founder of Bond Over Bindings (BOB), an Exclusive Children’s Bookstore and Learning Studio in North Bangalore
  • A certified Storyteller by heart and Book Curator by choice with 14 years of corporate HR leadership experience
  • Since 2023, engaged with 5000+ children/ caregivers via 100+ workshops/ events and delivered 8000+ learning hours at BOB studio/schools/workplaces
  • Regular participant in Literature Festivals & Events as a Storyteller, Event Invitee or Session Expert

Meghna Shirish Iyer brings her unique visual storytelling expertise to Pebbles & Pages:

Fun Scribbly Read-Aloud – 16 December – Kothanur Campus

  • The Author of Award Winning Book – Scribble
  • A Photographer and educator specializing in visual storytelling
    Her Work spans storytelling, portraiture, commercial photography, and fine art photography
  • She has Studied visual arts in Bangalore & Master’s in Professional Photography from Instituto of European di design, Madrid, Spain

Bhavana D

Bhavana brings warmth and whimsy to children’s illustrations

Farmyard Hullabaloo – 16 December – Kothanur Campus

  • She is a Children’s book illustrator based in Bangalore
  • With Master’s Degree in Visual Communication from Srishti Manipal Institute – she transitioned from Big Data Engineer to illustrator
  • Bhavana creates colorful, warm illustrations featuring diverse cultures, food, festivals, inclusivity and everyday moments of joy and specializes in whimsical illustrations and those involving animals
  • Also works on book covers and concept illustrations

Book Fair by Bond Over Bindings

Little Red Hen is delighted to host a vibrant Book Fair in collaboration with Bond Over Bindings. Families and children can explore a wide collection of storybooks, picture books, and engaging reads carefully curated to spark imagination and nurture a love for reading. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to choose their own books, discover new authors, and carry the joy of stories home.

Timeless Tales with Grandparents

15 September – Kothanur Campus
17 September – Thanisandra Campus

We celebrate the joy of storytelling across generations. In Timeless Tales with Grandparents, our children’s beloved grandparents step into the classroom to share stories from their own childhood, family traditions, and timeless folktales. These special sessions create a warm circle of listening and learning, where children experience the magic of oral storytelling and the love, wisdom, and imagination passed down through generations.

Musical Tales with TALA

17 September – Kothanur Campus
18 September – Thanisandra Campus

The TALA team presents Musical Tales – a unique storytelling experience where rhythm and music weave into every story. Children will sway, clap, and sing along as melodies bring characters to life and beats carry stories forward, making the joy of reading and listening even more magical.

Curtains Up! Puppet Show

Our teachers step into the world of imagination with a lively Puppet Show. Through colourful characters and engaging storytelling, they bring stories to life in a way that sparks curiosity, laughter, and wonder. A special treat for children to enjoy stories told with creativity and heart!

Once Upon a Costume

19 September – Kothanur Campus
19 September – Thanisandra Campus

 Children step into the magical world of stories by dressing up as their favourite book characters. From fairytale heroes to curious animals, little detectives to magical beings – the classrooms come alive with imagination and colour. This joyful day encourages children to celebrate the books they love, express their creativity, and bring stories off the pages into real life.
